About Me

Jacob Sisneros is a senior journalism major with an interest in news and sports writing. He is currently the Editor in Chief of The Daily Aztec and has past editorial experience at his community college paper La Voz Weekly.

Jacob joined The Daily Aztec his first semester at SDSU after transferring from De Anza College in fall 2015 and has been with the paper for three semesters. He wrote 31 articles his first semester as a staff writer for news and sports.

Jacob got his interest in journalism from watching and reading about sports growing up and his experience at De Anza College as news editor, sports editor and editor-in-chief cemented his love for journalism. His dream job is to work for Sports Illustrated or The New York Times.
